A lifelong love of all things textile led Alex to a retail career in the world of high-end interiors, gaining specialist furniture, lighting and fabric knowledge as well as the invaluable experience of working with discerning clients as well as those seeking more guidance. Her friends and then their friends would ask for advice and so her business of interior design began to take shape. Whatever the budget or style she relishes working with people, helping to realise their vision and dreams for their home. Certain constants inform all her work: colour, texture and comfort.

Preferably working from the earliest stages alongside architects and contractors, our aim is to provide design concepts that bring to life our interpretation of our client’s needs - creating homes that function and delight in equal measure.

Alexandra Laughland Interior Design was launched in 2015 and undertakes commissions worldwide.
